    • CaseStudy Lite: 10 - 15 devices

  2. What is the range of coverage?
    • CaseStudy works best in an unobstructed 50-metre radius.
    • Trees, pillars or buildings within the radius will affect coverage.
  3. What sort of formats can it support?
    • CaseStudy supports formats including MP4, PDF, MP3, JPEG, .docx and .pptx.
    • MP4 and PDF work best and formatting for .docx and .pptx files may be adjusted.
    • For best performance, keep individual files under 800MB. For CaseStudy Lite, videos should be no higher than 720p. For CaseStudy Pro, the maximum video quality is 1080p. This helps you and your students enjoy the videos without lags.
  4. Can I add school-specific content?
    • Yes, as long as the formats are supported.
  5. What content is included in the device?
    • The CaseStudy comes preloaded with the full Wikipedia (minus videos) and Kolibri (which includes Khan Academy).
    • A library of sponsored content including 250GB of videos on English, Math, Science, and Music is available on request.
  6. What languages are supported?
    • The CaseStudy primarily supports English. If you need assistance in a different language, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
  7. Is it waterproof?
    • Yes, the CaseStudy is both waterproof and shockproof. It's been tested to withstand extreme weather and rough handling. CaseStudy has even been used in demanding environments like boats and rivers without any issues.
  8. How big and/or heavy is each CaseStudy kit?
    • Including the storage case, each standard CaseStudy kit weighs:
    • CaseStudy Lite: approximately 1.65kg
    • CaseStudy Pro: approximately 10kg
    • Customised CaseStudy Pro kits may weigh up to 15kg, depending on the components included.
  9. What are the dimensions of the CaseStudy?

  10. Can I connect CaseStudy to the internet?
    • Yes, CaseStudy may be connected to the internet using LAN or Wi-Fi.
    • However, the internet connection should be disabled when using CaseStudy to connect with other devices.
  11. How long can the battery for the Potato Pi system or mini-computer last?
    • The battery life of the mini-computer depends on the powerbank you use.
    • Powerbanks are not part of the CaseStudy kit due to safety regulations. Recommendations can be provided on request.
Learning Management System (LMS)
  1. Can it operate fully offline and online?
    • Yes, the LMS can function both offline and online. All features are available in both modes. However, the hotspot feature (for sharing with other offline devices) won't work while Wi-Fi is active.
  2. How do I track student progress and performance?
    • You can export student data as a .CSV file and view it in Excel to track their progress and performance.
  3. Can I customize the LMS to fit my organization's needs?
    • Yes, please share your requirements through the General Contact Us form. We'll get back to you on possibilities in 3 business days.
  4. How do I access the LMS?
    • The LMS is a key feature of all CaseStudy plans.
  5. Do I need technical expertise to use the LMS?
    • While some technical knowledge can be helpful, our LMS is designed to be user-friendly and requires minimal technical expertise.
  6. What security measures are in place to protect student data and prevent unauthorised access?
    • The LMS employs strong security measures to protect student data. Both system logins and database security require passwords, minimising the risk of unauthorised access even if devices are lost or stolen.
  7. Does the LMS comply with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)?
    • Yes.

  1. When will I receive my CaseStudy order?
    • Approximately 6 - 8 weeks after your order has been confirmed.
    • This includes:
    • 4 - 6 weeks for assembly as each CaseStudy is built-to-order
    • 1 - 4 weeks for shipping, depending on the courier

  1. Does CaseStudy come with a warranty?
    • Yes, CaseStudy comes with a 7-day product guarantee. If you find any issues within the first week of receiving your order, we'll replace or repair the items at our expense. After the 7-day period, the original manufacturer's warranty will apply. We also offer one year of technical support and warranty guidance.
  2. Will there be a guided setup?
    • Yes. All CaseStudy plans include a complimentary guided setup and troubleshooting session over Zoom for users with internet access.
    • You'll also receive a CaseStudy user manual for support.
  3. Who can I contact if I need help?
    • The Patatas will provide a complimentary 1-year technical support. Technical support will be chargeable after 1-year from the date of receiving items.
